Bright blue flowers are featured on feathery plants that grow about two feet high. Grow this beautiful plant in full sun; it is drought and heat tolerant. BLUE FLAX (Perennial) - Plant does well in full sun. May be started in spring or fall. It prefers a well drained fertile soil. Best production of flowers occurs after spring planting. Plant seed about 1/8" deep. This plant will produce large green plants with beautiful blue flowers with five petals. The flower blooms for only one day but is quickly replaced by more flowers. It does not require much water it is heat and drought tolerant.
